Hi Lori!

I wanted to send an email expressing appreciation to you and the folks at Bee Windows for standing behind your product and your service by taking care of the problem with my porch window. I've attached pictures of the work that Mark Reno did. Not only did he replace the broken window, he took the time to explain to me why such things happen and did so in a way that made sense to me. He also bent over backwards to fix the trim around the other porch windows. I had questioned that earlier on but presumed how it was done was considered "normal and acceptable", but he said "no, that ain't right".

As you can see by the pictures, he stripped off the trim around the porch windows and replaced it with trim that now fits properly with a bevelled angle that channels water AWAY from the house, not INTO the house (which can be observed by the previous pictures I sent).

I realize that the extra time Mark consumed making things right with my porch costs your company money. Or it costs him money, in terms of work without pay. BUT - the value of that effort is not quite so tangiable when people ask me who I'd recommend for siding, window and porch work. If and when I might recommend your competitor, you'd never know that. So subsequently, it would be lost business you would also never know about. I know this because I used to work for a small manufacturing company in south whitley that used to produce the best product of its type, but lost sight of that, in the pursuit of the bottom line. Now that company is on the rocks and fading fast with little hope for survival in the face of lost market share.

We recently installed 23 windows in Kara's home. She actually decided to go with our Quantum 2 vinyl product with Heat Mirror. Her home was built in the early 1900's and needless to say, they were in desperate need of this project. Here is what she had to say in regards to their project:

Matt,

I've been meaning to send you a note, but keep forgetting! I blame the boys!

Wanted to let you know that we are very very happy with our windows! It is such a huge difference in comfort and functionality!!

And the crew that did the installation was awesome! They were all very courteous, friendly, professional and respectful. The foreman was very competent, respectful, and professional. I have never seen a construction worker take their shoes off to walk through someone's house after walking through mud!

The first day of the installation, it rained most of the day, so they only completed I believe 6 or 7 windows and then got rained out. The second day they showed up with one extra guy, and it was obvious that they were there to get the job done....I was amazed that they did that many windows in one day and got the job done before 5. And when they left, they didn't leave a trace that they had been there. I had absolutely no messes to clean up.

My husband was very pleased as well, and that says a lot because he has been doing construction work for many years and is very critical of others' work, especially on his own house.

I will definitely recommend you to anybody I know that is looking to have work done on their house.
